If you would like to join our Coldwater United Church Choir please show up at 7::00 p.m. on Thursday              evenings.                                                                                                                                                            Sunday School classes are held during the Worship Service at Coldwater and Eady.

  Coldwater service begins at 9:00 a.m.   Eady service begins at 10:30 a.m.

The Coldwater United Church congregation is making  "Cookie Dough" as an ongoing fundraiser.  There are 5 dozen pre-portioned, frozen cookies in a box for $17.00.  You can pick from Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Coconut or Spong Toffee.  You can mix two kinds or even three kinds in a box.  You can cook as many as you want at a time, cook from frozen and they are safe to refreeze if they thaw out.  If you would like to place an order for these delicious cookies please send an email to smart@amtelecom.net or call 686 7653.  You can reorder and if you keep the box your cookies come in you will save $1.00 on reorders.

Believe it or not, Lent is only a month away!  On Wednesday mornings during Lent, beginning on February 17th, at 10:30 a.m. at the Coldwater United Church, Reverend Lori Avendano will be leading a half hour prayer service where we will sing a couple of hymns, share a brief devotion, and pray for the needs of the community.  All are invited, and we would encourage people to share any and all prayer requests so that we can lift them up to the Lord at these prayer meetings.

Also during Lent, Reverend Lori Avendano will be leading a six week Study Group on Friday evenings, beginning Friday, February 19th.  The purpose of this study is to get people thinking and talking about what the church is, what its mission and purpose are, and what our role in the body of Christ is.  This is a study for anyone who cares about their church, its life and its future.  This is an educational program, not an entertainment program, so expect to do some homework each week.  We will have Bible readings to do each week, and we will be discussing a book called, "Organic Church:  Growing Faith Where Life Happens" by Neil Cole.    For further information on where the Study Group will be held, and if you would like to order a copy of the book, please call the church at 686 7787 or email us at ceucpc@amtelecom.net .
