Greetings to all.

As we enter this new, and hopefully warmer, month of June, may we continue to be always open to opportunities for service.

Acts of kindness are contagious.  When we feel cared for, we are much more likely to support others, strengthening the fabric of our communities.

We continue with our weekly gathering of "Sacred Space".  We meet on Wednesdays alternately at Coldwater and Eady, 11am to noon.

Too, please remember that everyone is welcome to the weekly Community Meal at Coldwater United Church. It is held from 11:30 AM  to 12:45. The meal is free!  Donations are also welcome.

June, the sixth month of the Gregorian calendar, marks the official start of summer in the Northern Hemisphere. It is widely celebrated as Pride Month, National Indigenous History Month, and Great Outdoors Month. Named after the Roman goddess of marriage (Juno), it remains a pivotal time for astronomical, cultural, and environmental milestones. The month is packed with major global, environmental, and cultural highlights:

Month-Long Observances

June 19: Juneteenth: Celebrates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans and marks the official end of slavery in the United States.

June 24: Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day: Celebrated heavily in Quebec, Canada, marking the midsummer festival.
