This cherished tradition has been part of Wesley (Eady) United Church’s community life for over 70 years, originally organized by the Wesley United Church Women.  When the event grew too large for the women to manage alone, they invited the men to help — a partnership that began around 20 years ago and continues today.

Originally served as a sit-down supper in the church basement, it has evolved into a convenient take-out format while still offering the same homemade quality and warm hospitality. It’s a great way to support the church and enjoy a taste of summer!

Volunteers still pick the strawberries by hand at Ego’s Market Garden — a tradition in itself. For many years, the berries were generously donated. On rare occasions when the crop wasn't ready, they were sourced elsewhere to keep the tradition going.

All proceeds help support Wesley United Church’s ongoing ministry and expenses. Thank you for being part of this wonderful legacy!
